Los Angeles

Unsere Tour endete in Los Angeles,  wo ich mich mit einer anderen Freundin traf, die ich bei meinem Wochenendkurs auf Long Island kennen gelernt hatte.
Es waren ein paar tolle Tage, doch LA selbst ist nicht wirklich meine Stadt, zumindest dem ersten Eindruck nach.

Our tour ended in Los Angeles where I reunited with a friend that I met at my Long Island weekend class.
It was a nice couple of days, but LA is not really my city, at least that's what I think after I got a first impression.

Lake Havasu

Von Grand Canyon aus ging es weiter zum Lake Havasu und einer weiteren Nacht Camping - allerdings bei Gewitter.
Der Abend war jedoch sehr schön und wir konnten im See schwimmen und sogar Stand Up Paddleboarding lernen.

After the Grand Canyon we headed to Lake Havasu and another night of camping - but during a thunderstorm.
The evening was still pretty nice and we were able to swim in the lake and even learn stand up Paddleboarding.

Grand Canyon

Nachdem wir Las Vegas verlassen hatten, ging es weiter zum Grand Canyon, welcher das Highlight des gesamten Trips war.
Wir bekamen alle die Augen verbunden und liefen so zum Rande des Canyons, um so den Besten ersten Blick zu erhalten.
Dort haben wir den Sonnenuntergang angeschaut und am nächsten Morgen den Sonnenaufgang.
Leider hatten wir nicht viel mehr Zeit, es war jedoch atemberaubend schön.

Oh, und ein Eichhörnchen stahl uns einen Apfel.

After leaving Las Vegas we headed to the Grand Canyon which was the highlight of my whole trip.
We all got blindfolded and walked to the edge of the Canyon this way to get the best first view on it.
There we watched the sunset and the next morning the sunrise.
Sadly we did not have much time, but it was breathtaking views and very beautiful.

Oh, and a squirrel stole an apple from us.
